Dental Safety and Risk Management Program

The Dental Safety Program focuses on your compliance with professionally accepted standards of dental practice. It provides a plan of action for preventing, identifying, and managing hazards whether chemical, biological, or administrative.

The program will help you implement preventive and/or corrective measures that will decrease risk and improve the health and safety of your practice.

Program Details

  1. On-site Safety and Compliance Survey of your clinical practice, procedures, and work environment.

  2. Evaluation of exposure risk to biological, chemical and other work related hazards including bloodborne pathogens:(HBV, HCV, HIV) and infection transmission hazards (MRSA, H1N1).

  3. Written report that includes corrective action to help your practice achieve compliance and reduce or eliminate risk to employees and patients.

  4. Development of a facility specific Health and Safety Compliance Manual and Documentation Forms to address the requirements mandated by regulatory agencies as listed below:
